You can access healthcare at any of our accredited Health Service Providers (HSPs) across Ghana, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers.
Depending on your selected plan, coverage typically includes outpatient services, inpatient care, specialist consultations, prescribed medications, laboratory tests, and emergency services. Some premium plans also include dental, optical, maternity, and critical care benefits.
Standard waiting periods apply to certain services such as maternity or chronic care. However, general outpatient services are usually accessible shortly after your first premium payment is confirmed.
Yes. You can add your spouse, children, and in some cases, elderly parents, depending on the policy guidelines of your selected plan.
All members have access to a digital card via the Octaplus App. You may also request a physical card. Lost cards should be reported immediately to customer service for replacement, subject to a small administrative fee.
At accredited Octaplus partner facilities, members generally do not pay for covered services. Payments only apply to excluded services or applicable co-payments.
In emergency cases at non-network facilities, notify Octaplus within 24–48 hours. Submit original receipts, a medical report, and a completed claim form for reimbursement.
Healthcare providers can apply through our Service Provider Onboarding link. After credential verification (HEFRA, NHIA, etc.) and a possible facility inspection, the partnership will be formalized.
Claims submitted through our portal are vetted using our AI adjudication system. Approved claims are paid within the agreed credit period outlined in the HSP Partnership Agreement.
